This website
This website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking, and it has no forms. Our hosting provider may keep standard technical logs, such as IP addresses, for security and to keep the site running.
When you email us
If you email us, we use your name, contact details and anything you tell us about your business to reply to you and, if you ask, to prepare a quote. We do this because it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and because we have a legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
If you become a client, our letter of engagement explains how we use and keep the information needed to provide our services.
Sharing your information
We do not sell your information. We only share it where needed to provide our services, for example with HMRC or Companies House when filing on your behalf, with service providers such as our email and accounting software providers, or where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 12 months. Client records are kept for as long as the law and professional rules require, which is usually at least 5 years after the end of our working relationship.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to ask for it to be transferred. Email us to make a request.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
